Falla Photos

If it weren't for the remnants of Roman candles and fire crackers from last night's parties, you'd never know the Fallas even happened.

Here's a few photos from the week's events!

And the planning for Fallas 2010 started the next day.

Those costumes were incredible. And of course I enjoyed the last few pictures.

Looks like it was a wonderful time!

Hey - I'd be honored to have my ladybug story end up in a Spanish sermon. Wow! (or an English sermon in Spain?)

I thought I'd left a comment here. I said you should fix up the little girl in the fancy dress with one of your boys. Maybe the internet ate it?

I used to have a doll that wore a red satin dress with black lace and the black lace headdress with a big red flower--all these gals remind me of her, though I think I enjoy these gals' dresses bright colors more so that those of my doll. And to see the children dress likewise....Love the boys, too!

I still can't believe they make these creations and then completely burn them, but....we've visited that topic before, so enough said about that. Very traditional and very festival--and all your boys looked like they loved it! (Love the scarf!!!)
